The opportunity to work with the oldest African American family-owned and operated business in the State of Alabama doesn’t come along that often so when it did, we gladly accepted the task of renovating the current facility housing Davenport & Harris Funeral Home, Inc.

Located near Elmwood cemetery, the project consisted of renovating the interior of their existing facility as well as renovating newly acquired properties to the south that would be used for an array of activities and events. This project expands Davenport & Harris’ capacity to better serve the community and the state.
